Fyorin Becomes Silver Sponsor of Sliema Wanderers FC

MALTA, 24.09.2026 - Fyorin, the financial operations platform authorised by the Malta Financial Services Authority, welcomed Sliema Wanderers FC President Walter Arciola and Mr Robert Spiteri Director of Operations to its Malta offices today, where the two organisations formally signed a new sponsorship agreement as Fyorin becomes the club's Silver sponsor.
Since its founding in Malta, Fyorin has grown into a platform used by more than 500 businesses across 20+ countries, with awards and recognition matching its success at home and abroad: Recipient of the Malta Business Awards 2025, and Best Cross-Border Payments Initiative at The Card & Payments Awards 2026.
Despite the growing success abroad, Malta is still where Fyorin calls home. That's why the company is proud to sponsor one of the island's oldest sporting institutions, and to invest back into the island where it was founded.
Founded in 1909, Sliema Wanderers are one of Malta’s most successful and historic football clubs. The club boasts an impressive honours list, including 26 Premier League titles and 22 FA Trophy victories, alongside numerous other domestic cups that have helped cement its place in Maltese football history.
